Open for All Levels: Some basic experience with oil paint will be helpful, but confident beginners are welcome.
What We’ll Paint
I’m going to create a new figure-in-the-landscape painting based on a scene similar to this one, with a special focus on grass.
I’ll show how I simplify it into larger shapes, build depth and light, and add texture without copying every blade. You’ll see the same layered process I use in my studio—what I paint first, what I leave for later, and where I use transparent or opaque paint.
You can paint with me live or follow the recordings at your own pace.
Start with a Free Introduction Session
Before enrollment opens, I’ll host a free live session using the same or a closely related reference.
Together, we’ll make a small color study to plan the main relationships of light, color, and atmosphere. It is a complete exercise on its own—and if you later join the full workshop, it becomes the first step towards the finished painting.
